Groups - One-time Service Projects
The YWCA welcomes one-time volunteer service projects for both individuals and groups.
We hope to recruit and retain volunteers who can work in our agency for a minimum of six months. If you are interested in ongoing opportunities, please fill out our application and contact Yen at 801-537-8601 or email@example.com.
Eagle Scout/Girl Scout Gold Award Projects
If you are interested in completing your Eagle Scout or Gold Award Project with the YWCA, we have opportunities for you.
Orientation and Training
Volunteer orientation and domestic violence trainings are held on the first Monday of every month from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. in the Center for Families building located at 310 East 300 South in Salt Lake City. Street parking is available.
Candy Cane Corner Holiday Store Volunteers
The Candy Cane Corner Holiday Store provides homeless residents of the YWCA Utah, The Road Home, and Volunteers of America the dignified opportunity to shop for new toys and necessities for their families during the holiday season. The Candy Cane Corner is staffed by volunteers and stocked with new donated items during the holiday season. Information on Candy Cane Corner here.
