YWCA Summer Camp
Lolie Eccles Early Education Center at the YWCA Utah is excited to announce our 2017 summer camp program for children ages 5-12!
This year, Summer Camp hours are from 7:30AM to 5:30PM.
The YWCA Summer Camp seeks to create a well-rounded summer of learning, fun, and adventure! Our program provides daily field trips, awesome activities, a sense of community and long lasting friendships when you leave.
Morning and afternoon snacks are included, bring your own lunch and water bottle.
When we aren't out and about for each week's themed activities, we will be utilizing the equipment and many play areas that our YWCA campus offers. With a fully equipped gym space, open green space field, and playground, we will play organized games, team-building activities, and give the children plenty of creative free-play. Our facility includes basketball hoops, hula hoops, scooters, jump ropes, and much more. We will also benefit from classroom which is fully furnished with games, books, computers, learning activities, and creative art supplies to embrace your child's interests.
We are partnering with some amazing local programs - Westminster College's Health, Wellness and Athletic Center and Wasatch Community Gardens - for weekly on-site activities. At Westminster College your child will be taught by actual athletes of the school and will learn a variety of sports and ways to be active. At Wasatch Community Gardens your child will get their hands dirty by exploring their environment, planting and harvesting crops, and taste produce that is grown by expert gardeners.
Registration will open for current LEEEC Families and YWCA Utah Members at 9:00AM, Wednesday, February 22, 2017. Registration will open to the public Monday, February 27, 2017. A new LEEEC Admissions Application and Health Assessment will need to be completed and uploaded as part of the online registration process. These forms can be found here, as well as on the registration page.
Please be sure to review the LEEEC Summer Camp Cancellation Policy.
