The annual YWCA Outstanding Achievement Awards are given to up to five remarkable women in Utah whose lives and achievements exemplify the YWCA’s mission: eliminating racism, empowering women, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all.
To nominate an outstanding woman, please complete the following information, attach a resume or vitae and two letters of recommendation. A committee whose members include the 2017 OAA (Outstanding Achievement Award) recipients will select award winners. Eligible nominees (must have lived in Utah for the past 5 years and cannot be a board member or employee) will be judged on three criteria: 1) exemplifying the YWCA mission; 2) demonstrated support of other women or girls; and 3) professional achievement.
To receive this award, an OAA recipient must be able to attend the YWCA’s annual LeaderLuncheon on Friday, September 7, 2018.
Nominations accepted until May 25, 2018.
