We honor International Women’s Day by sharing this year’s theme to “Break the Bias,” an idea that all women, especially those of color and part of the LGBTQ community, are deserving of peace, justice, freedom, and dignity. Our mission is to eliminate racism and empower women, so we take today to give room to women making a difference in our own backyard.

Liz Owens, YWCA Utah CEO, was part of a beautiful discussion held by the Utah Women & Leadership Project on how she learns, leads, and lifts for the well-being of women and girls in our state, particularly through an intersectional lens. Watch the replay below!
