What is a mentor walk? The mentor walk is an opportunity to connect emerging female leaders with professional women in the community. Mentors will be grouped with 2-3 mentees, and will spend an hour walking and talking (should be about 2 laps around the park.)
Who are the mentors? They include senior executives, thought leaders, entrepreneurs and business owners who value mentoring as an important step to a successful career.
Who are the mentees? Young women (ages 18 to 35) involved in the YWCA through membership or the Young Women’s Leadership Summit. Mentees should be emerging leaders who want to take their career to the next level and value the input of successful women in the community.
