About KRH Apartments

Eligibility Criteria 

KRH Apartments are available to adults and families who: 

  • Are survivors of domestic violence or other abuse 

  • Are experiencing housing instability or homelessness 

  • Meet low-income requirements (per HUD guidelines) 

  • Are willing to participate in supportive services 

Please note: KRH does not require a criminal background check for entry, but all applicants must complete a screening process to ensure safety for the community. 

 

Available Apartments

The Kathleen Robison Huntsman Apartments (KRH) provide affordable, long-term housing for adults and their children who have experienced domestic violence or other abuse. Located in downtown Salt Lake City, KRH offers a secure, welcoming, and supportive community where families can heal, rebuild, and thrive. 

Features include: 

  • Two- and three-bedroom furnished apartments 

  • Secure building access and onsite management 

  • Shared community spaces and children’s play areas 

  • Access to transportation, schools, and community services

Supportive Services Offered On-Site

At KRH, residents have access to a comprehensive network of supportive services designed to promote healing, growth, and independence. These services are provided by YWCA Utah staff and partners and are tailored to meet each resident’s needs. 

Support services include: 

  • Psychotherapy and safety planning 

  • Case management and goal-setting 

  • Mental health and trauma counseling referrals 

  • Employment and education support 

  • Financial literacy and budgeting workshops 

  • Parenting classes and family support 

  • Childcare services through the Lolie Eccles Early Education Center (when available) 

  • Afterschool programming on-site
