The Kathleen Robison Huntsman Apartments, located at the YWCA, feature safe, secure affordable housing for parents, with custody of dependent children, on the path to self-sufficiency, such as working or attending school full-time. YWCA Utah’s dedicated supportive services focus on healing, particularly for victims of recent domestic violence. We are an Equal Housing Opportunity.

If you are a single parent with dependent minor children and access to a housing subsidy, looking to work and/or attend school full-time, you may be eligible to apply to the Kathleen Robison Huntsman Apartments.
Our village prioritizes building violence-free lives and self-sufficiency with supportive services. Our apartments are located behind a secured gate, in a safe, monitored community, which prioritizes helping women build safer, healthier lives for their families. Our community maintains strict guidelines to keep our community safe.
About the Community
The Kathleen Robison Huntsman Apartments are fully-furnished, two- and three-bedroom apartments, located behind a secured gate, with shared common spaces with the YWCA’s emergency domestic violence shelter.
All tenants must be committed to maintaining a safe community and follow YWCA Utah’s campus guidelines, including visitor restrictions and security protocol.
Supportive Services
Supportive Services at the Kathleen Robison Huntsman Apartments are provided by YWCA Utah, which is dedicated to empowering women, eliminating racism, and promoting peace, justice, freedom, and dignity for all. YWCA Utah has been serving Utah women and their families since 1906.
Families will be assigned a Case Manager to help them on the path to self-sufficiency.
Families have access to drop-in and after-school childcare services and programming, including academic support, enrichment, and activities.
Two and three-bedroom apartments come fully furnished, including beds, tables, couches, etc.
Families have access to on-site laundry facilities and an on-site maintenance team.
Tenants have access to economic empowerment services including financial literacy courses.
